Alert: Our car park will be closed to ALL visitors on Saturday 11th October

Fernville Surgery will be running a flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinic on: Saturday 11th October.

For autumn 2025, COVID-19 vaccination eligibility has changed. The NHS is following new guidance from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI), with a greater focus on protecting those at highest risk of severe illness.

This year, the free NHS autumn COVID-19 booster will only be offered to:
Adults aged 75 years and over
Residents in care homes for older adults
Individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed (including those with certain health conditions or undergoing specific treatments)

Please note that our staff cannot vaccinate anyone outside this eligibility criteria. We kindly ask that you treat our team with respect, as these rules are set nationally and are beyond our control.

💉 Private COVID-19 vaccines are available at some high street pharmacies, typically costing around £100 per person.
